Everyone has those days where everything is stressful — even the little things. While stress is a normal reaction the body has when changes occur, it can really affect your mood and your performance if you don’t learn how to alleviate the symptoms of it.

4. Drink black tea.
5. Chew gum — yes, really.
In an article, I wrote a few years back “Constructive Ways to Deal with Stress” I laid out 12 ways to constructively deal with stress
1. Go For Walks
Going for invigorating walks during the mornings is a good way to deal with stress. It opens up your mind to the beautiful nature and gives you a chance to breathe fresh air. Both of these have a calming and soothing effect on your nerves and give you the strength to deal with stress constructively.
2. Meditation
Meditation allows people to clear the mind of all the negative thinking and helps to develop a positive thought process. You will be able to realize the potential residing in you and use it in optimal ways while dealing with stress.
3. Deep Breathing Exercises
Deep breathing exercises help to calm you down, instantly. Whether you are feeling anxious, angry, or stressed out, breathing exercises are the best way to deal with the stress positively and successfully. These exercises are easy and you can do them anywhere, anytime.
4. A Fun Hobby
Indulging in a fun hobby can take your mind off the stress for a short time. Once you can separate your thought process from the pressure situation, you will be able to deal with them in an objective way. Bring your creativity into play and it will help you deal with stress successfully.
